GemUp Privacy Policy

GemUp is a single-player puzzle game published by Berkay Can Sağlam (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

Information stored on your device

GemUp stores game preferences, advertising-frequency state, and high-score information locally using Apple's UserDefaults system. This information provides game functionality and is not sent to a developer-operated server.

Advertising

GemUp uses Google Mobile Ads. Players can choose Banner or Pop-up in the in-app Ads settings. Banner mode reserves a 320 × 50 area at the top during gameplay and does not show game-over interstitials. Pop-up mode shows no advertising during gameplay; an interstitial may appear only after the player has completed at least three games, taps Play Again, and the five-minute cooldown has elapsed. If consent is unavailable or an ad cannot load, gameplay or replay continues immediately.

Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform may process device identifiers, coarse location inferred from network information, product interaction, advertising data, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostics to deliver, secure, and measure advertisements and consent choices. GemUp asks for advertising consent where required before requesting an ad and does not display an App Tracking Transparency prompt in version 1.0. Where required, Privacy Choices can be reopened from the Ads panel available through the title or pause menu. Inappropriate advertising can be reported through the Report an Ad page.

Purchases

GemUp offers an optional, one-time Remove Ads purchase through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the transaction. GemUp reads Apple's signed entitlement information to determine whether ads should be removed and does not receive or store payment-card details.

External links

The pause screen includes optional links to developer social profiles and support pages. Opening a link leaves GemUp and is governed by the destination service's privacy policy.

Children

GemUp is intended for a general audience and is not listed in the App Store Kids category. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated account or server.

Retention and deletion

We do not operate a GemUp account system or player database. Delete the app to remove locally stored game information. Advertising providers retain information under their own policies and applicable consent choices.

Changes and contact

This policy may change when features or providers change. The effective date will be updated. Questions can be submitted through GemUp Support; do not include sensitive personal or payment information in a public request.
